The prosthesis can be fixed using cements, metal shafts or screws. After fixing the prosthesis accurately and cleaning the fluid in and around, the incision is stitched back and covered with bandage. The patient may need to take extra care and concern post the surgery and undergo regular physiotherapy to recover fast.
